We are the Number 1 Not-For-Profit Organisation to work for in the Sunday Times Top 100 list for 2020 (Number one in the Best Companies Top 25 Housing Organisations to Work for) and have also achieved Platinum Investors in People status for our approach to people management and development.We are a values driven organisation committed to achieving our mission of One team, transforming lives’, but we’re also entrepreneurial, maximising the value of our money and resources.Stockport Homes is committed to tackling antisocial behaviour (ASB) on its estates and working to challenge unacceptable behaviour and bring about real changes, without having to take legal action wherever possible.We are now looking to recruit two ASB Officers to work within the specialist ASB Service to take positive action to address ASB in neighbourhoods and improve the overall quality of life for people on estates.As an ASB Officer you will work closely with customers in both private and SHG managed neighbourhoods to ensure they feel supported to report ASB and be able to deal sensitively with complex problems and issues raisedYou will also work in close collaboration with both internal and external partners to ensure that the work of the ASB service compliments the work of the Safer Stockport Partnership, is delivered in line with ASB Strategy and operates on a value for money basis, delivering positive outcomes in neighbourhoods and contributing towards being One Team, Transforming Lives.In order to be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate an understanding of how social housing providers can deal with antisocial behaviour in communities, be able to build effective relationships with a wide range of agencies and partners and have the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and work using own initiative.
