Job Description

A full-time, 3-month, Administrator role based in Stockport, immediate start and offering hybrid working.Client DetailsOur client is an established housing association located in Stockport, committed to improving lives, and is looking for an Administrator who has previous experience working for a housing association to join their diverse and experienced team.DescriptionThe key accountabilities will include, but may not be limited to;

  • To prepare letters, reports, minutes of meetings, statistics and other documents using various information technology packages.
  • To maintain and update filing and information systems and records in the office.
  • To participate in the office cover rota, answering telephone calls and taking messages, receiving and dealing with visitors to the office
  • Advise residents and prospective purchasers on all aspects of shared-ownership and market rent.
  • Maintain appropriate comprehensive records of residents to ensure an effective housing service.
  • To deal with general rent enquiries including setting up direct debits and taking card payments.
  • Generate payment demands / invoices for customers
  • To carry out the clerical functions in respect of the creation or termination of a tenancy.
  • To receive and deal with repair requests, including raising works orders, liaising with contractors, progressing works and processing invoices
  • Book viewings for the lettings team
  • To carry out other duties in the administration of housing management functions as directed by the Leasehold or Lettings Manager.
Profile
  • Excellent Customer Care Skills
  • Experience working for a Housing Association
  • Previous use of Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
