Our client is a market leader in Marketing and Communications and provides a wide range of services to key clients including Government, Financial Institutions and leading global brands.They are currently recruiting for an International Accounts Assistant to join their 21 strong finance team based in Cheadle, but with flexible working arrangements. The role will offer a broad range of experience and responsibility, whilst requiring someone to be able to get into the detail to ensure accuracy. This is a great opportunity to build financial knowledge and understanding by working with the different teams within finance. You will be well supported in the role whilst being part of a fast moving, growth driven business.Key responsibilities:* Providing support as required to all finance teams (purchase ledger, credit control and management accounts)* Downloading bank statements and entering cashbook transactions into SAGE for both purchase and sales ledger* Working closely with management accounts to resolve cashbook queries on a weekly basis* Downloading of trial balances and supporting aged debt analysis* Reconciliation of supplier statements* Direct debit allocations* Support the maintenance of the fixed asset register* Data entry to ensure that the system information is up to date* Processing staff expense claims* Reconciliation of credit card statements* Handling of charity donations* Dealing with postSkills required:* Reliable team player being able to provide flexible cross team support* Excellent excel and analytical skills* Well organised to ensure monthly deadlines are met* Strong communication skills* Hard working and self-motivated* Methodical and high attention to detailDesirable Experience / Qualifications:* Has experience with a SME / privately owned business is ideal but not essential* Previous experience working in manufacturing or logistics* Has knowledge of Sage 200/X3This role has an excellent remuneration package with genuine development opportunities.
