Job Description

Accounts and Audit SeniorLocation: Stockport, ManchesterSalary: Very Competitive DOE + Excellent BenefitsJob Type: Full Time / PermanentThe Client:Our client is one of the leading accountancy firms providing business advice, tax planning, and other accountancy services to their clients in the UKThe Role:They are looking for an experienced Accounts and Audit Senior to join their expanding Accounts and Audit Department.Duties:

  • Prepare management accounts and year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
  • You will liaise with clients to resolve queries.
  • Ensure all assignments are completed within the allocated budget.
  • Work with the client to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Draft Corporation Tax computations and liaising with tax department
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of proven practice experience.
  • ACCA or ACA qualification
  • Experience in the preparation and review of financial statements(sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.)
  • Experience in Audit work, preparation of cashflow forecasts, business plans.
  • Experience in using CCH is preferable.
  • Experience in the preparation of management accounts(desirable)
  • IT proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks.
  • Sound knowledge of tax compliance issues.
Shift:
  • Full Time, 38 Hours per week (8:30 - 17:15 Mon - Thu, 8:30 - 16:30 Fri)
  • 1 hour lunch each day.
Benefits:
  • 20 days holiday plus 3 days at Christmas.
  • After probation you will be put on Medicare.
