Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team to support own your own portfolio of clients.Client DetailsThis is a well-established firm in the professional services industry located near Stockport.Description

  • Working with a range of clients from small to medium sized limited business preparing statutory accounts & corporation tax computations.
  • Communicating with a portfolio of clients via phone and in person meetings
  • Preparation of unaudited Accounts for sole traders and partnerships.
  • Self-assessment tax returns & VAT
  • Liaising with HMRC on client queries
ProfileA successful Accountant should have:
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field/Qualifications such as AAT/ACA/ACCA
  • Minimum of 3 years UK practice experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage Accounts, Xero and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Confidence & ability to manage a portfolio of clients
  • Competent in producing statutory accounts using FRS 102
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Able to work and support the wider team within the Practice
