Job Description

Reed Accountancy has a fantastic opportunity for a part qualified, qualified orqualified by experience accountant within our clientsFalkirk office. This position comes with an attractive salary with outstanding benefits.The successful candidate will lead a small finance team and with this responsibility our client isseekingsomeone with experience leading people in a similar accounting or finance environment.Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the financial accounts and cash functions ensuring all compliance measures are adhered to
  • Enhancing, monitoring and reviewing all departmental KPIs
  • Planning and coordinating all acquisition activity
  • Leading ad hoc project work in relation to banking and expense management
  • Supporting with month end process and ledgers
  • Coordinating and overseeing internal and external audits
  • Leading and developing direct reports and indirect reports
  • Supporting in the training of direct reports and indirect reports
  • Responsible for ensuring that resource planning is sufficient to service the teams objectives
  • Ensuring the continuous development of management reports
Candidate
  • Part qualified, qualified or qualified with relevant experience
  • Experiencedin leading people
  • Proven track record within a commercial, high volume, multi-site environment
  • Proficient in MS Office package
  • An enthusiastic person with an excellent eye for detail and the ability to engage with a diverse workforce
