Job Description

Telemetry Product Technician required for an exciting opportunity with my client, a global leader in the design, installation and servicing of products for the water industry such as wastewater treatment and flood protection systems.As Telemetry Product Technician you will be responsible for workshop activity including inspection, testing and dispatch of telemetry logging systems and related hardware. Also to provide technical support and oversee fault diagnosis and repair process.As Telemetry Product Technican you will be experienced with assembly, electronic test equipment, customer support and document preparation. You will also be familiar with Windows and Linux systems for production and test, component assembly & soldering skills.Key responsibilities of the Telemetry Product Technician:

  • To take responsibility of the day to day running of all workshop activity and deliver the required weekly output to the required specification as defined by the Production Manager
  • To build, test and calibrate telemetry logging systems to all safety requirements and good working practices
  • Responsibility for the delivery of sales orders, culminating in packaging and dispatching units in accordance with the weekly plan.
  • Provide effective technical support with other team members using CRM Case Management to maintain high levels of customer support.
  • To undertake testing and inspection along with any subsequent repairs on loggers returned from site. Provide a monthly report to the Production Manager regarding fault diagnosis.
  • Provide the Production Manager with monthly key production metrics including (but not limited to) repairs conducted, orders shipped and inventory levels
