Supply Chain Manager Location: Stirling, FK7 7QQ.Salary: Competitive.Contract: Full time, permanent.Supply Chain Manager - Role SnapshotSuperglass are a manufacturer of mineral glass wool thermal and acoustic insulation. We currently have an opportunity for a Supply Chain Manager to join our site based in the heart of Stirling.The role is to safely lead the supply chain team in ensuring that we provide our exacting customers with the right product, at the right time and for the right price. The role has a broad remit covering procurement, material management, production planningand management of finished goods - all while managing budgets, systems, and the legal framework. Sitting at the centre of everything we do, you will need the ability to establish excellent working relationships with other teams such as production, sales, transportand customer service. You will be an accomplished manager of time, people and safety.Supply Chain Manager - Accountabilities Procurement and control of raw materials which meet quality, safety and legal standards at the right price point; Oversee material availability and production planning to meet customer orders; Ensure accuracy in stock counts; Maximise transport efficiency through minimising incomplete loads; Interacting with the team to promote safe working practices, identify and mitigate risk including COSSH and encourage behavioural safety; Engaging in the Sales and Operations Planning forum, providing commentary on material variances, stock and material availability and price fluctuations; Control budget for raw materials, own team labour and plant hire; Pro-actively lead the team and support the growth of capability within the team; Contribute to the site leadership communication forums;What we need from you Minimum four years of Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in FMCG; Significant experience of ERP systems, warehouse management systems and standard IT applications; Ability to interpret relevant legislation and introduce measures to ensure compliance around this; Demonstrable skills in people management and team development; Strength in financial management, budgets and forecasting; Stock control; Management of health, safety and well-being for team and other stakeholders; Personal attributes of leadership, resilience and drive; An excellent communicator with strong ability to influence stakeholders and to build and sustain long-term professional relationships, both internally and externally;If you have the right to work in the UK and have the skills and experience to be successful in this role wed love to hear from you!
