Job Description

An Engineering Consultancy with a long history within the Scottish construction market is looking to recruit a Structural Technician to join their team.For this role we welcome applications from recent graduates as well as more experienced candidates.Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide detailed structural drawings in steel, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber in AutoCAD and Revit software packages.
  • Maintain and promote technical standards.
  • Liaise with other design team members to achieve a coordinated design, developing ability to actively take a design lead when required
The Person:
  • Minimum HNC/HND
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD
  • Understanding of steel portal frames
  • Good communication skills required.
  • Flexible and enthusiastic approach to working within a small team
  • Confident and responsible
