Job Description

Daytimehealthcare are recruiting for an experienced radiographer to join a private hospital in Stirling.This is a permanent full time position, working 37/5 hours per week, covering a flexible shift pattern.It is essential that applicants have the following:

  • Diploma or Degree in Diagnostic Radiography
  • State Registration (HPC)
  • General radiographic skills to include Fluoroscopy, Ward and Theatre Radiography
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn and participate in specialist Modalities e.g. Mammography, CT Scanning, Angiography or MRI
  • Customer Care skills
  • Health & Safety, Radiation Protection and safety knowledge awareness
  • An interest in developing skills in Specialist Modalities as part of department rotation
  • An interest in Post Graduate education
  • Duties of this role include:
  • Produce high quality images to the standard of the department operational procedures and policies, using techniques that produce the lowest radiation dose to the patient and staff.
  • To participate in multi-disciplinary training where appropriate
  • To ensure personal Continual Professional Development.
  • Practice high standards of Radiation Protection & Safety and observe local rules and systems of work.
  • Manage the designated working area and ensure that it is clean, tidy and efficiently run and as part of the team apply these criteria to the Diagnostic Imaging Department generally.
  • Develop good communication and relationships with colleagues within the department and within the hospital generally
