Production PlannerLocation: Stirling, FK7 7QQ.Salary: Commensurate with experience.Contract: Full time, permanent.Superglass are a manufacturer of mineral glass wool thermal and acoustic insulation. We currently have an opportunity for a Buyer Planner to join our site based in the heart of Stirling.This is a varied role in our Supply Chain with the primary responsibility of ensuring material availability to support the sales forecast. Other responsibilities include managing inventory levels, supporting material/product level revisions, interacting/coordinatingwith suppliers on a variety of topics, and supporting other business functions as required.Production Planner - Accountabilities Create 24 to 72 hours production plans covering 3 production lines over 2 shifts, 24/7, 365 days a year. Daily Stock checks to maximise warehouse space utilisation. Ensure the production plans & finished goods stock levels are sufficient to cover customer demand and the flexibility required for a demanding and fast changing order book. Work closely with production stakeholders, maximising production output & efficiencies. Manage Quarantine stocks, ensuring material is dealt with accordingly in a timely manner. Liaise with Sales, Customer Service & Transport teams to ensure a industry leading OTIF level is achieved. Organise & lead a daily planning meeting with relevant stakeholders to identify & address any potential problems with supply. Collection, maintenance & analysis of data for KPIs & daily/weekly/monthly reporting. To assist and support the other roles within the Supply Chain Team, overlapping responsibilities & holiday cover may require completion of tasks in addition to your normal duties.What we need from youEssential Skills Experience of planning within a manufacturing environment. Strong communicator who works well as part of a team. Highly numerate with a strong focus on detail & accuracy. Ability to work to deadlines. Ability to utilize & learn a range of IT applications, including MS office, MS Teams. Problem solving skills.
