Production Operative based in Stirlingshire.Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you will work as part of the production Team, contributing towards the successful commercialization of the companys omega-3 product and development of future products.Your primary responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, clean-in-place (CIP) and operation of sterilization equipment and bioreactors, media preparation and enrichment, sterile inoculation and sampling of product, as well as conforming to qualitycontrol measures, maintaining records and safety procedures.You will be expected to apply your experience and knowledge proactively to mechanical trouble shooting, methods and processes, operation design, implementation, and reporting of experiments to both the Production Team and other departments within the company.The role will require you to work flexibly and tackle complex problems either as an individual or as part of a team.Educated to HND level within a biological or engineering related field with experience in handling live organisms within a hygienic environment, or with industrial experience in a food and beverage manufacturing facility preferably with practical knowledgein CIP, pasteurization, fermentation, filtration, and or centrifugation.You will need a keen eye for detail and be an excellent communicator with the ability to work independently and effectively within team. You will have a positive can do approach and a keen interest in the use of biotechnology for the benefit of the environment.Own Transport required due to location.
