Job Description

Our client near Stirling is looking for a production scientist to going their expanding manufacturing team. The main purpose of this role is to manufacture and test the reagents and components set out in departmental build plan to help meet KPIs relatingto quality and delivery.The basic functions of this role include:

  • Manufactureand testreagents and componentsaccording to anagreedproduction schedule.
  • Analysis and evaluation of test data.
  • Routine maintenance and use of machinery associated with technical manufacture.
  • Test incoming materials to ensure that they meet agreed specifications.
  • Follow and completeall documentationin line with the principles of cGMPand GDP.
  • CAPA:Help identifyreasons for batch failures and contribute to solutions.
  • Assist when required, the transfer of new products and methods from R & D.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a life science degree with manufacturing experience within science-based manufacturing, GMP/GDP experience and QMS knowledge. Applicants must have a positive attitude and take accountability and ownership of theirwork. Due to the location of this role, applications need a driving licence.
