Payroll & Accounts AssistantLocation: Stirling, FK7 7QQ.Salary: Competitive.Contract: Full time, permanent.Payroll & Accounts Assistant - About the Role:Superglass are a manufacturer of mineral glass wool thermal and acoustic insulation. We currently have an opportunity for a Payroll & Accounts Assistant to join our site based in the heart of Stirling.This role is key ensuring the smooth running of the monthly Payroll and the everyday accounts tasks. Having experience in FMCG or Manufacturing industries is preferable but not essential. You will also be comfortable communicating with the various otherfunctions within the business and enjoy working with a high volume of transactional workload, with a high level of accuracy. As the Payroll & Accounts Assistant you will join the team to provide additional support to payroll and accounting duties; undertakenby the group to support the businesses wider aims and objectives.Accountabilities Calculation and processing of monthly payroll, with high level of accuracy and attention to detail Statutory submissions for payroll, accurately prepared and submitted to HMRC in a timely manner (including P11Ds) Point of contact for pension related queries Supporting the process of employment cost forecasting monthly Responsibility for bank reconciliations ensuring all postings are accurately made to the nominal. Oversee expenses process, including posting the monthly credit card transactions Processing weekly and monthly payment runs on Bankline provided by purchase ledger Assisting in month-end processes, preparing payroll related accruals and producing payroll reports. Undertake ad-hoc work as required and respond effectively to any queries arising.What we need from you Previous Payroll experience is essential You will have strong Excel skills Working knowledge of UK Tax and NI Calculations, Statutory payments Working knowledge of Auto Enrolment pensions Ability to understand technical payroll and pensions queries Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work efficiently to meet tight deadlines You will be a team player with strong influencing and interpersonal skills Build relationships across department, with internal and external stakeholders Be a proactive and self-motivated with strong analytical skills and a high level of integrity Good communication and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work in order to meet timetables and tight deadlines Experience of identifying and implementing process improvements Actively participate in departmental activities and initiativesIf you have the right to work in the UK and have the skills and experience to be successful in this role, wed love to hear from you!
