Job Description

Our client is looking for a Hospitality Manager in Stirling for a superb businessClient DetailsA leading companyDescription

  • Using your excellent people management and communication skills to provide our clients with an outstanding hospitality experience.
  • Lead, motivate and engage the hospitality team and create an environment where the team can grow and develop.
  • Carry out staff appraisals with hospitality team at regular intervals
  • Ensuring adequate staffing resources are in place at all times on all floors
  • Provide hospitality services throughout the care home and challenge when standards have not met the required levels
  • To be aware of the special diets that may be required
  • To be aware of dietary requirements / preferences ensure the relevant measures are in place.
  • Ensuring dining rooms are set to a high standard for all mealtimes for our clients
  • Menu cards changed for each mealtime and presented in excellent condition
  • To serve breakfast, lunch, evening meal, snacks, and drinks throughout the day
  • Complete mealtime orders a day in advance and liaise with chef on any individual requirements.
  • Set up and stock all serverys and check as required
  • To ensure that the cleaning rota is adhered to at all times and that the serverys are hygienically clean and the floor mopped when necessary
  • Planning and overseeing events in our cocktail bar, brasserie, cinema and private dining room.
  • Liaising with the kitchen and front of house staff to ensure smooth delivery of service to our clients.
  • A hands-on role, overseeing and providing high-quality food and beverage service to our residents.
  • Creating a warm and welcoming environment, ensuring our residents feel comfortable and relaxed every day.
  • Maintain clean and well-presented dining rooms, serveries, brasserie restaurant, cocktail bar and cinema areas.
  • Planning and overseeing all events in Brasserie, cocktail bar, private dining room and cinema to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Managing staff daily to ensure all areas of the business are covered.
  • Establish strong relationships with residents and resident families, engaging in friendly conversations, and attending to their individual needs.
  • Collaborate with our care team to understand any specific care requirements or limitations for residents when providing services.
  • Leading and motivating the hospitality team to create a nurturing environment.
  • Carrying out staff appraisals at regular intervals
Profile
  • Restaurant supervisor experience is essential or previous experience within a hospitality background.
  • Food hygiene training (training course can be provided if required)
  • Be a natural leader with strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanour, able to build rapport and communicate effectively with the team and our residents.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a caring team to enhance our residents overall experience.
  • Sensitivity and understanding of the unique needs and preferences of individuals.
  • Organisational skills with good time keeping.
  • Restaurant Supervisor experience is essential
  • To have a genuine interest for older people
  • To be willing to participate in National Vocational Training Programmes
  • To have good communication skills
  • To have the ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • To have Food and Hygiene training
Job OfferThis is a permanent role and is paying approximately £17 an hour
