Job Description

Covid Security Marshals (Elections)Stirling AreaImmediate Starts available£168 DailyOur Public Sector client in Stirling has an urgent requirement for multiple Covid Security Marshalls to support their team with the running of the election polling stations on Thursday 6th May 2021. This is an exciting opportunity to take part on the day of the elections and earn some extra cash. With a day rate of £160, the hours you will required for are from 6.15am - 10.15pm.This post is based in various rural and urban locations throughout Stirling.An example of the some of the areas we have requirement in (but not exclusive to) are:FK9 5BW, FK7 7BL, FK8 1UJ, FK9 5NLThe Main Duties:

  • Meeting and greeting members of the public on arrival to the polling stations
  • Those working outside will be limiting the numbers entering the polling place.
  • Those working inside will be cleaning the ballot booths, door handles etc.
  • Will act as Covid marshals directing footfall in and around the polling station are to ensure covid guidelines are adhered to.
  • Making sure essential PPE is worn, such as masks and offering sanitiser to visitor on entry/exit of the polling station.
    • Requirements:
  • Comfortable working in a physically demanding role (requirement to stand for long period of time and work outside)
  • Excellent customer service skills, ability to deal with the public and ensure all guidelines are followed.
  • Good interpersonal skills and confident in dealing with member of the public (sometimes confrontational situations)
