Job Description

The Role - Contract/Project Manager (Construction based)Location - StirlingshireSalary - £50-£60K + depending on previous experienceHours - Mon-Fri (will vary depending on site requirements) Office Angels have a fantastic opportunity for a keen individual to become a foundation to a family run construction services business, based in the outskirts of Stirling, leading from the front with a close-knit team of people who all have a common goal -business success!This role will suit someone with previous experience of working in a similar position within a construction environment. It is therefore essential that candidates can demonstrate a successful career path and validate experience gained in this environment.Due to the nature and location of the role you must be in possession of a full driving licence as site visits will be required.Principal Accountabilities -* Establish strong working relationships with a wide range of people* Organising & prioritising works to coincide with deadlines* Managing the on-site teams * Budget control* Site visits to monitor completion dates/target* Inspection of quality of works carried out* Ensure H&S & site/equipment records are up to date and within regulation* Overseeing costs and ensuring all resources are being used effectively* Effective planning and control of labour materials particularly with emphasis on H&S, environment and cost control* Preparation and submission of estimates, tenders, valuations, for work/projects and to monitor performance of projects within operational areas of Construction ServiceSkills -* Previous people management experience* Experience of working in a senior capacity within the construction sector* Good understanding of Health & Safety especially around risk management across a construction background * Previous experience of managing a multi skilled workforce within either a Construction, Maintenance, Scaffolding or House Building organisation* Effective negotiation skillsOur client is looking for someone to join their thriving business within the construction industry who can take responsibility for leading and overseeing all construction operations at a project level with a hands-on approach.
