Job Description

SRG are recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager to join an exciting and growing life science organisation.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with business development experience and looking for a new challenge and can be based anywhere in the UK.This role requires international travel and full flexibility around that.The Role:

  • Identifying new sales leads and closing existing opportunities to subsequently grow profitable sales revenues
  • Translating company sales strategy into a sales plan Identify new business opportunities, developing and maintaining client relationships
  • Key account management Identify sales leads Build strong relationships internally as well as with existing and prospective clients
  • Generate proposals
  • Maintain market knowledge Attending networking events and opportunities Drive own sales plan forward
  • Develop and negotiate sales contracts
Requirements:
  • Background in life science/technical sales with experience selling a service to clients
  • Extensive experience of the biopharmaceutical market, ideally within a CRO, CDMO or CMO environment
  • Proven experience hitting targets and driving own sales plan
  • Flexibility for international travel
  • Strong communications skills
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels internally and externally
  • Strong commercial understanding and focus
  • Strong team player
