Our public sector client, based in Stirling, have a temporary requirement for an Architectural Technician from mid June for approximately3 months. The successful candidate will assist within the Design & Projects Team. This will be a full time role, 7 hours per day between the hours of 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. The role will be based in Stirling and/or home working. Travel may be required to undertake site visits and measured surveys.Duties will include:- Preparing drawings for statutory consents such as Building Warrants, Planning Applications, etc.- Assisting with projects that are under construction on site at present, providing production information or assisting with information for handovers- Liaising with design consultants, statutory authorities, contractors, etc.- Undertaking measured surveys of existing buildings for feasibilities studies, minor and major adaptations, kitchen and bathroom replacement works, etc.Essential Skills & Experience:- Minimum HND Architectural Technology- Relevant experience of new build house construction, as well as existing housing stock- Experience of undertaking site visits/inspections, producing information forstatutory approvals, liaising and conversing with consultants, contractors, tenants, etc.- Experience of undertaking measured surveys and producing accurate drawingsfrom these- Understanding of modular construction, latest energy targets, renewables, etc.- Basic Disclosure Scotland clearance would be advantageous
