Currently recruiting an Account Manager, brand new position due to growth!Based in Alloa for a successful company within medical technology- EmblationClient DetailsPageGroup Scotland are delighted to be supporting emblation - an award-winning medical technology company, revolutionising the way microwave energy is used in healthcare. Their aim is to improve on traditional treatments, using the unique advantages microwavesdeliver - accurate, repeatable procedures, and better clinical outcomes.Their technology is revolutionising the treatment of HPV infections globally, and is widely used in Dermatology, Podiatry and Oncology, with a number of disruptive applications under development in the fields of Cardiology and Gynaecology.The company was started in 2007 by joint co-founders (current Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer) and inventors behind the technology. They form part of the highly experienced management team with over 50 years of experience in this field.You can now find Emblations medical devices in 1000s of clinics and hospitals across the UK, the US, Canada, and Australia. They are just at the start of a journey and you will be joining the Emblation team at a key phase in their growth. Having recentlysecured additional investment into the business to fund the next stages of the companys development, underpinned by 3 primary goals:

  • Expansion into new treatment areas
  • Development of new markets and a wider global presence
  • The addition of new talent to our Scottish Headquarters to bring the skills and experience needed to support our plans for growth
The next five years will be exciting....DescriptionYour new role The Business Development Manager role is a management position accountable for managing an existing major OEM client, alongside proactively managing sales/revenue forecasting across the business and working with our Operations team to deliver seamlessly;pushing customers, partners, and distributors to meet and exceed sales/revenue forecasts and managing the relationships to ensure growth in alignment with board objectives. You will also be tasked with expanding our OEM business, managing new clients as theycome on board, and leading the pitch process for new business.You will be responsible fr achieving revenue targets for OEM business, leading business processes and driving business growth in key accounts. You will quickly establish effective professional relationships with customers, and maintain our global standardsof service and after-sales support.Your deliverables will include the following:
  • Meeting or exceeding business goals for OEM business, agreed upon with Commercial management
  • Working in partnership with the marketing team to grow OEM opportunities and positioning the company as a leading, global technology partner
  • Careful management of commercial sales/revenue forecasting, meeting and exceeding expectations for a very limited number of major accounts
  • Contributing to the new global sales function as the primary stakeholder for the OEM business, bringing initiatives forward to continually improve performance of the function at a group level
  • Working alongside the regulatory and quality teams to ensure product compliance in the relevant markets
ProfileWhat you will need to succeed You will be an energetic, passionate, self-starter with a positive disposition and someone who will relish a working environment which is focussed on growth and the changes needed to deliver it. In addition, we are looking for an individual to display thefollowing capabilities:
  • Working knowledge of the global medical device market
  • A proven track record of successfully managing major company accounts and delivering growth from long-standing relationships
  • A proven track record of achievement in sales, with experience in medical technology
  • Financially literate with a strong commercial mindset and the ability to forecast with accuracy
  • A skilled communicator capable of developing strong and trusting relationships with key strategic customers across a range of industries
  • Data focussed, closely monitoring the teams performance related to KPIs and objectives including pipeline growth, business development and forecast accuracy
  • Strong presentation skills and an ability to build/execute a virtual selling process
