Forecasting / Demand PlannerLocation: Chesterfield, Derbyshire (Commutable from Sheffield, Rotherham, Macclesfield and Worksop)Salary: £20,000-£23,000Full Time, PermanentExpiry Date: 25th January 2021The Company:AvantiGas is one of the UKs leading suppliers in off-grid energy solutions to homes and businesses across the nation. To us, it’s about the fulfilled promise of safe, efficient and friendly delivery of our products.The Position:We have an opportunity for a Forecasting/Demand Planner to join our team on a permanent basis to help provide continuous improvement to our forecasting processes, ensuring we meet our customer needs.You will deal with demand planning and management processes for new and existing customers as well as provide support to develop seasonal demand forecasts and anticipate changes in customer usage over the year.What are we looking for

  • Two years’ experience in a forecasting or demand management role (beneficial)
  • Strong numeracy skills and experience of analysing data demonstrating high levels of accuracy
  • Strong geographical knowledge of the UK
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of an organisation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, intermediate Excel level
  • Ability to demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills, with experience of working to strict deadlines
  • Problem solving approach and adaptability within a changing environment
  • Influencing and collaboration skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
