Job Description

Facilities Maintenance Operative£22,100 per annumStaveleyFull Time, PermanentFlogas British are recruiting for a Facilities Maintenance Operative to work on site in Staveley. Reporting to the Site Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all facilities and maintenance related tasks are carried out. Includedin the role is the need to deliver quality based maintenance across the site and support the day-to-day activities of the maintenance department.The Role

  • Perform facilities maintenance on company facilities, equipment and grounds.
  • Making routine repairs (example: repairing leaks, replacing lightbulbs, making electrical repairs, landscaping, gardening, carpentry related repairs, painting, repairs to ventilation, and air systems)
  • Assist the maintenance team with repairs to machinery and equipment within the LPG industry, this could include shotblasts, compressors, conveyors, fillers, and related machinery.
  • Conduct routine maintenance schedules such as fire extinguisher checks, legionella checks on water systems and keep records, assist with supplying customers with filled cylinders and collecting empty cylinders, and any other extra duties that may be required.
About You
  • Holder of forklift license
  • Must be computer literate
  • Be willing to work outside in extreme conditions
  • Ability to work in a team or on own initiative

  • Must have appositive attitude towards safety
