Our client was founded some 25 years ago in Holland as the first independent cargo General Sales Agent (GSA). This was in response to emerging and professional development of the air cargo business. Today they are proudly representing some 60 carriers and have their own offices in 53 countries.Due to continued growth and development, they are looking to secure a new Cargo Reservation Agent to be based from their Heathrow offices, joining an existing team. This role will comprise of the following duties;• Taking cargo reservations from agents over the phone or by e-mail.• Flights planning according to space availability and allocations.• Able to produce booking sheets the day before flights and prioritise the load accordingly.• Update reservation according to manifest.• Follow the PBs and ensure all are received and booked on a timely manner.• Able to follow/monitor new business to ensure departure as booked.• Fill daily flight reports and log any discrepancies.• Work closely with GHA to avoid discrepancies.• Helping agents to carry out amendments (CCA).• Freight tracing.• General office duties.Ideally you will have previous reservations experience with an Airline or GSA and working knowledge of CargoVision, SkyChain, Cargospot and Icomis with strong and clear communication as well as the ability to perform under pressure and the willingness to go the extra mile.This position is an immediate permanent role and interviews are available ASAP.David Charles Associates is a Recruitment Business and Agency.
