Job Description

MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected manufacturing company based in the Stanley area.MTrec are currently looking for proactive individuals who are looking for a long-term position ASAP.The Role:

  • Transporting glass around the warehouse safely using pallet trucks
  • Visual quality inspection of the finished product, checking for scratches, chips and scuffs.
  • Operation of machinery, loading and unloading and general upkeep of said machinery
  • Using a hot melt gun to seal glass products together
  • Glass handling including transporting materials to production are
  • Physical activities to be carried out including lifting and handling various stock
  • General warehouse duties, including - working from order sheets, loading, and unloading of wagons and loading materials onto stillages
The Person:
  • Must have a positive attitude and are willing to learn more skills on the job.
  • Must be able to do 3 shift patterns and be available for overtime
  • Ideally experience in production / warehouse - however full training will be given

The Hours:
  • 06:00am - 2:00pm / 2:00pm - 10:00pm / 10:00pm - 06:00am
  • Overtime can go 2 hours either way and will be paid at time and a quarter
The Pay:
  • Days: £8.91ph
  • Backs: £10.25ph
  • Nights: £11.85ph
