Job Description

We are now recruiting for our client Peak period on Rotating shifts in West Hallam Ilkeston, so come and join our friendly and growing team as a full time Warehouse Operative in West Hallam, DE7 6HE. You will be joining a global logistics provider with excellent benefits! Successful candidates will be scheduled to start their Day 1 training on Thursday 28/09/2023 & Thursday 05/10/2023 There are no options for the use of public transport for this role and shift hours, all candidates would need to ensure they have their own transport arrangements to get to the location of work Rotating shift:

  • Monday to Friday from 05:30am until 13:30pm & 14:00pm until 22:00pm rotates weekly
  • Pay Rate: £11.20 per hour
  • Overtime applies after 37.5 hours on Saturday and Sundays
  • Bank holidays are standard working days
Your role as a Warehouse Operative:
  • Picking and Packing items ready for distribution
  • Using a handheld scanner to sort items
  • Manual Lifting involved (upto 23 KG)
  • Unloading containers
  • Available PPT/FLT training
  • Adhering to and upholding strict Health and Safety standards
Requirements:PPE is required, but we are able to provide this There are opportunities from TEMPORARY to PERMANENT!Benefits as a Warehouse Operative:
  • Overtime is paid at a premium rate
  • Temp to perm opportunities
  • Immediate starts are available
  • Weekly pay on a Friday
  • Get up to 33 paid holiday days per year (pro-rata)
  • No experience is needed as training will be provided
