BS Social Care and delighted to be working alongside an innovative children`s residential provider as they search for new support and senior support workers for their two sites in Gateshead and west County Durham.The organisation are new to children`s residential provision but have moved into the sector after a long established, successful delivery of adult complex needs residential services. This large, beautiful home sits in some stunning grounds and has been specifically refurbished to the highest level to provide the best possible care to the young people whose home it is. It has large bedrooms for the children promoting independence alongsidesome shared living areas designed with conducive `family style` living. There is a kitchen where the young people are actively encouraged to take part in meal preparation and a dining room where the young people and staff members eat together at meal times.You will work alongside the management and support team to provide a safe and secure home to give the young people a change to thrive. You will work to the children`s support plans to help them achieve goals or aspirations that they have. You will work alongsideother professionals to provide essential and wraparound services for the young people including education, health and recreation.You will be able to evidence why you are fit and suitable to embark on or develop a career in children`s residential- paid experience, volunteering and relevant qualifications will all be considered in this regard.You need to have a full UK driving licence to be considered for this role.Starting at £21840, a healthy starting salary in this sector, your salary will go up to over £22500 after a successful probation period. You will also be given a £500 bonus on completion.
