Job Description

Pest Control BiologistPrecision Pest Management Solutions Ltd is looking for, an enthusiastic and able IndustrialPest Control Biologistto join their team of Specialist Pest Controllers and Industrial Biologists to cover the North east of England area.The successful candidate will earn £23,000 - £29,000 per year depending on experience.This position would be ideal for a new or recent graduate; especially from within a relevant field of study.Working Hours:

  • Usual working hours are 0830 to 1700 with 45 minutes lunch, however pests do not always conform to normal working hours and some overtime work is occasionally necessary
  • We offer statutory holidays plus 20 days annually, with an increase to 25 days the longer you work with us.
Role Requirements
  • The ideal candidate will have RSPH2 in Pest Management or equivalent. A degree in a Biological Science, while preferred, is not essential.
  • You will need to be quick thinking, and able to communicate verbally and in writing to all levels of clients and staff from cleaner to Managing Director and be handy with a screwdriver.
  • You will need to be computer literate, with experience in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • You will need to hold a clean and current EU driving license and be resident with permanent residency status in the North East of England or prepared to relocate.
  • Your role will be to look after some of our clients to ensure they become or remain pest free whilst at the same time advising them on environmental improvements. The range of pests and of work environments provides continual variation. This is a fieldposition and is definitely not a lab-based role!
  • Client needs often change and so our services need to adapt to these changes. There will be opportunities to develop the business for which we will pay you commission
