Job Description

Our client are an established, expanding manufacturing business currently looking to recruit a HR Coordinator to join their team.Overall Purpose:

  • Reporting directly to Senior Management you will be required to carry out a range of HR duties within our busy commercial department.
Key Duties:
  • All personnel administration.
  • Monitoring and updating policies and procedure in line with legislation.
  • Coordinating and overseeing discipline, absence management and grievance issues.
  • Producing HR related documentation such as recruitment adverts, offer letters, induction paperwork, contracts of employment, handbooks, exit interviews and leaver letters.
  • Managing attendance records and maintaining the HR systems (Sage and INFOR) and associated hard copy records.
  • Organising company events in order to raise money for local charities.
  • Compiling necessary paperwork needed for processing monthly payroll.
  • Organising and coordinating training for new and existing members of staff.
  • Managing company Insurance policies.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
  • You should therefore have a good knowledge of current employment law and best practice together with excellent administrative, organisational and IT skills.
  • An ability to prioritise your own workload in order to meet deadlines is essential.
  • This is an excellent opportunity for development within our Company and is best suited to someone with experience working within a small, professional environment.
  • At least 2-3 years working within a HR/office based environment or similar role.
The Package:
  • £23,000 - £25,000 per annum depending on experience.
  • Office hours: Mon-Thurs: 8:15 - 5pm & 8:15 - 1:45pm on a Friday.
  • Pension scheme.
