Job Description

Flowex Recruitment are currently working with a public sector client based local to Stanley that are looking to apppoint a Gardener/Environment Operative on a full time, temporary basis.This post is expected to last until October 2021.Your main duties will be:

  • Operating ground maintenance machinery such as ride-on mowers and hand grass cutters, strimmers and blowers.
  • Planting and maintenance of shrub, rose and flower beds.
  • Loading/unloading vehicles.
  • Hand digging, hard landscaping.
  • Carrying out litter picking duties and collection of fly tips.
  • General maintenance/tidying up of areas.
    • To be successful with your application you will hold a full driving licence that is appropriate to drive up to 3.5 tonne vehicles and hand grass cutters. You will have experience within a similar role of using plant equipment and machinery. Youll also have some practical knowledge of horticultural works such as grass cutting, strimming, hedge cutting and bed maintenance.Basic knowledge of health and safety is also essential for this role.To find out more apply now!
