Job Description

Compliance / Technical Officer Stanford le Hope, Essex £40,000 - £42,000 + Benefits + Progression 25 days holidays + bank holidaysPrivate HealthcareSalary reviews & Regular Pay Reviews Our client, a leading bonded facility, specialising in bespoke fuels blending and storage services are currently recruiting for an experienced Compliance Officer to develop, maintain and carry out the administration for their ISO compliance system. Basedin their headquarters in Standford le Hope, you will be an integral part of a busy and dynamic organisation.The Role:

  • Maintain the company’s Environmental and Quality Management System (EQMS) framework and ensure on-going compliance with accredited ISO9001, 14001 any other ISO standards as applicable.
  • Manage day-to-day operation of the company’s ISO compliance program:
- Identify areas of compliance vulnerability and risk for ISO standards through internal and external audits, supplier questionnaires; develop and implement appropriate corrective action plans for resolution of identified or potential issues.- Maintain an oversight of customer audits and outcomes.- Overview of business supplier performance, contractor assessments and external audits carried out by Coryton on third parties.
  • Develop and carry out internal compliance audit assurance program:
- Lead internal audits and compliance assurance reviews with relevant personnel.- Facilitate and host external audits with assessors acting for the certified accreditor.- Manage the close out of improvement actions in accordance with the requirements of ISO standards.- Management of Activ system and document control.The Candidate:
  • Previous compliance experience with ISO standards
  • Experience of working within a COMAH environment (preferred) as well as ISO9001, 14001 and 45001
  • Working within a similar environment (Fuels, Liquids, Petroleum)
  • Previous experience of candidates working within the COMAH environment would be a major advantage
