Job Description

My client, a well-established business based on the London Gateway site, are seeking a dedicated Management Accountant to join their team. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the existing team, bringing valuable knowledge and experienceto maintain accounting records accurately and efficiently.Annual Salary: £35,000-£38,000 per annumLocation: Stanford-Le-HopeHours: 8:30am-5:30pmYour role will include:

  • Collaborating with the team to ensure timely and accurate maintenance of accounting records for the company and associated companies.
  • Creating and maintaining customer and supplier records on multiple systems.
  • Assisting with sales ledger, purchase ledger and credit control.
  • Reviewing and posting credit card transactions and employee expenses.
  • Performing bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Management accounting inclusive of posting journal entries, accruals, prepayments, variance analysis and commentary.
  • Using control accounts.
  • Assisting with VAT Returns, Month End, and Year End closedowns.
  • Running cost-saving exercises and assisting with ad hoc tasks and projects as required.
