A SEN Teaching Assistant who is experienced in working with children with Autism, in particular demand avoidance, to work with a 10 year old gamer who is also very interested in technology. Helping to teach in varied and creative ways with this boy will make the greatest impacts to his learning. You will work as part of a team to support this boy in sessions with an experienced Tutor.This very interesting role will make use of Autism and Demand Avoidance knowledge teamed with an interest in technology and/or online gaming while incorporating literacy and numeracy into sessions.This role is located within Thurrock and is part time and 5 days per week.We are also looking for a Tutor to work alongside the Teaching Assistant.About ASENDASEND is a highly specialist SEND business, placing dedicated SEND professionals in schools and services throughout the UK.We were established in 2011 with the aim of supplying the education sector with the expert SEND staff it needs, and have since had success placing professionals into schools, colleges and services all over the country.
