Job LocationWest Thurrock Job DescriptionPrincipal Electrical EngineerProcter & Gamble (P&G) is one of the worlds leading companies in the manufacture of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), making globally admired brands such as Gillette, Pampers, Fairy and Oral-B.We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Principal Electrical Engineer, who will take on the role of Electrical System Owner (ESO) at our West Thurrock Manufacturing Site, owning the electrical safety program at the site and maintaining site electricalsafe practices.Responsibilities: The role will have two fundamental components:A technical component, hands-on work, focused on Electrical Systems for voltages between 50Vac and 11000Vac. A safety system ownership component that ensures the site is executing the Electrical/Power Safety Systems to a satisfactory level.The need for both components is crucial to a successful site electrical safety program. You will ensure the company auditable Electrical Standards are met, as well as any UK law requirements. You will have ownership of the High Voltage network and Powersystems* for the site, ensuring that all equipment is in good working order, managing all site electrical maintenance programs linked to the high voltage network.*Power systems include medium and low voltage switchgear and circuit breakers, protective relays, generators, transformers, power distribution panels, motor control centres, panel boards, meters, power tools, and personal protective equipment.Electrical Safety Responsibilities:
