Our client is currently seeking an IT professional to join their development team. If you are looking to develop your IT career and would like to work for a company that really values it’s staff this is the ideal company.Full Time permanent role - Monday to Friday £22,000 -£25,000 plus excellent non salaried benefits including 5 weeks holiday, company bonus, company pension, life assurance.They are looking for a candidate to work as a liaison between the Development Team and their Technical Support Team; assisting in the identification and solving of escalated issues. You will experience a dynamic environment and learn about a wide range of systems. You will also work on Development tasks implementing both new functionality and helping to improve their existing software. You’ll be working with an established development team on internal and customer facing products for a market leading company.Key Responsibilities• Providing 3rd line escalation from 1st / 2nd line Technical Support engineers• Work on Development BAU investigating and solving technical issues• Learn about a wide range of internal and external facing systems• Working with Testing Manager to decide on issue priorities• Work with the Development Team on various existing and new projects• Implementing new features and improving existing software by writing good quality code• Continuous improvement mindset• Undertake duties as determined by your line manager, keeping him appraised of progress or issues• Share relevant information with colleagues (and document your work where appropriate), ensuring they are able to follow and complete and work undertaken should circumstances required it.Qualifications / Experience
