Job Description

Production Supervisor - StalybridgePermanent days (Mon-Fri) A successful, well-established manufacturer is looking to strengthen their current management team. You would join a strong, experienced team within a fast-paced light manufacturing environment with prospects for future growth and development.The Position:

  • To lead a production team of up to 10 people, allocating work, meeting targets and ensuring effective processes are followed whilst supporting the team in a hands-on capacity.
  • To monitor and improve performance, oversee quality control and effective use of basic machinery, maintenance and cross training.
  • To take responsibility for all departmental functions, reordering of consumables and ensuring company health and safety procedures are followed.
  • To work as a key member of the production team, communicating and supporting other production teams where required.
Experience:
  • Have previous experience within a fast-paced light manufacturing environment with current team leader experience.
  • To show good people management and IT skills, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify problems and react effectively.
  • An energetic and confident leader able to communicate effectively and be passionate about building a skilled and motivated team and not afraid to suggest new ideas.
