Job Description

Customer Service Coordinator (6 month FTC)The main purpose of the customer service coordinator is to ensure that the allocated/dedicated customer’s purchase order and/or schedule call offs are processed with accuracy & efficiency within the required lead time to exceed the customer expectations and that of the business. With supervision and guidance by team leader and or Manager support the areas of the department to improve the knowledge and understanding of the business and operations.Main Duties

  • The input and processing of selected customer’s order and schedules into the company business database maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Seek to improve understanding of the processes and procedures within the department
  • With supervision assist in the creation/maintenance of departmental SOP’s for dedicated customer list
  • Seek out the support of Team Leader & or Manager in resolving internal and external concerns or issues that could impact on the performance to the customer and or business
  • With supervision manage the control of the consignment stock holding customer(s)
  • Recognise customer trends and/or changes in demand that can potentially impact the business and report these through the correct channel, via team leader or customer
  • Monitor the customer changes in order demand and report through the correct channels within the business
  • Monitor on a daily basis customer stock levels and manage in accordance with the company targets and/or customer SLA’s/expectations
  • Proactively develop good communication between all internal departments, with aim to develop & build relations and develop knowledge of the business functions
  • Maintain high standard of housekeeping for both electronic and manual documentation in line with company policies and standards
  • Ensure all business practices processes and procedures are adhered to in line with the company’s quality & HSE management systems
