We are looking for;Wood ITC is a IT company based in Manchester, we have a wide variety of clients that require daily IT support. We are looking for someone to join our team who has great customer service skills and is friendly and approachable. This person will be based at our busy office however they may need to do on site visits so having access to their own car is desirable but not completely necessary. Our office can suddenly become hectic so being able to work well under pressure is a must.Your duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide 2nd/3rd line Remote SupportProvide on site supportTo be friendly and approachableTo log & prioritise system & user support calls and action faults as reported on: PC’s, servers, laptops, mobiles and remote site equipment.Creating and maintaining Active Directory/Exchange accountsDocument and maintain Help Desk policies and procedures help build on knowledge baseTrack, monitor and report on all Help Desk incidents within defined service levels.Essential ExperienceKnowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2012r2 / 2016 / 2019Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems Windows 7-10Experience of working on a busy help desk, supporting clients remotelyExtensive Knowledge of AD/Group Policy Management/DNSKnowledge of Remote Desktop AppSet up of Hardware; Routers, Switches Etc.Knowledge of TCP/ IP WAN + LANKnowledge of AV management consoles and Endpoint ProtectionKnowledge of Lync and Skype for Business installation, configuration and management.Knowledge of Cisco and Draytek firewalls, VPN’s / Split Tunnelling / NATKnowledge of backups; Windows, Veeam and comm vaultKnowledge of Hypervisor technologies, predominantly; Hyper-V and SCVMMKnowledge of SQL and Database MaintenanceDesirable ExperienceAccess to own vehicle and full clean license Knowledge of on premise exchange to office 365 and Skype for BusinessKnowledge of WebrootSecureanywhere AV endpoint and DNS protection Knowledge of Sage 50 accounts/payroll packagesAzure exposure - Mainly AAD sync, Azure File sync and storage account management.Knowledge of Leased Line, EFM and VDSLExperience in Project Management roleWhat we require from you;Be able to work well under pressureEffective organisational skills and time management Being able to work alone or as part of a teamGood Customer Service SkillsFriendly and ApproachableDriver / have access to your own vehiclePresentable and Punctual Required skills
