A well established client of ours in the manufacturing business is looking for a Part Qualified Assistant Accountant with at least 3 years experience in an all round Assistant Accountant position using SAP. (AAT preferable or equivalent)Objective of the job:The position contains the following major domains: General day-to-day accounting work like: Billing, Expense Processing, Reconciliations of Rebates Month end Closing Activities: Rebate calculation, Cognos submissions, closing of ledgers Local Treasury: Preparation of Payment Runs, Cash postings and Bank Reconciliations VAT-Submissions Occasionally cover for AP/AR Internal ad-hoc Accounting SupportFurther develop the existing Accounting roll and establish new ways of working within an international framework Ensure smooth accounting processes and respect deadlines Support the development of an automatic dunning process Implement more efficient ways of managing credit limits Set-up Direct Debits Liaise with similar other accountants within the groupIdeal candidate will have :- Strong numerical and excel skills Strong analytical skills - a creative thinker who can offer a different perspective when tackling challenges Part/fully qualified AAT Ideally SAP/Cognos experience Knowledgeable in office software Languages : English Ability to integrate well in an international team, while also being able to work independently Self-driven, motivated person who wants to grow within an international organisationThis is an immediate vacancy as looking for someone to start early July 2022, so immediately available candidates please get in touch with Vinny Basra onoffering hybrid working 3 days in the office (initially first few weeks office based then 2 days remote) and excelletb company benefits and free parking on site.
