Job Description

This is a fabulous opportunity for a Customer Services Executive to join this exciting and rapidly growing established organisation.They offer bespoke and first class logistical services to customers via air, sea and road.Customers are worldwide including Australia, Canada and the US therefore this organisation operates 24 hour per day.Experience and knowledge of at least 1 year within a customer services role is essential and freight forwarding knowledge is desired but by no means essential.There are two new Customer Services opportunities. Both roles will be working on a permanent shift pattern, and there are two shifts. This enables clients worldwide to have a team at hand should they want to book a new assignment or query any bookings orshipments.The hours for the first role are:Role 1 - 4pm to midnight, starting on Monday afternoons, finishing midnight Friday night.Role 2 - 1am to 9am or midnight to 8am (TBC), starting early hours of Monday morning, and finishing 8am Friday morning.You will be working with a Freight Forwarder plus a supervisor therefore within a small team.Skills and Experience required

  • Customer Services knowledge and experience of at least 1 year
  • Dealing with any questions or queries from customers with booked shipments.
  • Assisting clients with booking their assignments via the online booking system
  • Help the freight forwarder with any necessary shipping documentation for customs clearance when required.
  • Able to build relationships at all levels with both customers and suppliers
  • Excellent customer service skills
