Are seeking to recruit an AV Technical Estimator Supporting a sales environment in the preparation, creation and administration of tenders, bids and pre-qualifications the ideal candidate will have AV Knowledge * Will have Working knowledge of current AV systems, associated IT elements and their installation (including AMX, Crestron, Extron, audio DSP, Video conferencing, Video streaming, digital signage, etc)*Will be preparing spec compliant functional and innovated designs / quotations for use with the tender submission * Provide a pre-construction role involving site and office based coordination with the client team and key interfaces to establish detailed working drawings in order to handover to the appointed project manager for implementation* will assist in the standardisation of design and products * Bid preparation* Meeting with sales colleagues to take the brief and understand the sales arguments*Will form part of the Bid team at client Interview * Agree timetable of preparation and work assigned with sales manager* Administration and coordination of tenders in support of the sales manager* Supporting the sales division in the timely fulfilment of tenders and the correct submission to the client* Assist in the standardisation of design and productsYou will need to have good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP Auto Cad and possess all round IT skills.Benefits:* 3% pension contribution (after 6 months probation period)* 23 days holiday in first year (holiday years rising after length of service January to December) to 25 during 3rd year* Death in service benefits (3 x annual salary)* Private medical insurance (after 6 months probation period)
