The Account Manager is responsible for overseeing and assisting in planning and implementing sales to specific major accounts,where cultivating relationships, identifying opportunities, and account management skills are critical. The purpose of the Account Manager is to manage and grow client base across Europe, including new sales in this category.Key Responsibilities* Assist in the planning, establishment, and maintenance of account relationships within assigned named accounts.* Analyse the existing client base, identify all clients in the assigned sectors, map out existing relationships, identify service gaps, and pursue opportunities to increase the share of the wallet.* Provide quantifiable results to show account growth and development.* Meet personal sales targets across the full line of products and/or services within assigned accounts.* Analyse client needs and identify/create the best option-solution.* Schedule and conduct training for new clients who fit the criteria for training.* Achieve yearly company growth targets through existing client penetration, new channels, and new sales leads from existing clients.* Focus on increasing unit growth per account.* Introduce new products to the existing account portfolio.* Manage multiple client projects and programs concurrently, seamlessly flexing between projects, owning schedules, outlining key milestones, and tracking deliverables.* Maintain accurate records of leads followed up to ensure targeted marketing activity can take place.* Negotiate commercial terms within set guidelines.* Work in partnership with other AM Teams across the business to generate global business opportunities.Skills and Experience: ESSENTIAL* Able to deliver on strategic initiatives.* Experience in managing key client accounts or within business development and delivering client-focused solutions.* Self-motivated and willing to take action in a results-driven environment.* Friendly, outgoing demeanour.* Able to engage with clients and develop relationships.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* High degree of accuracy.* Proven ability to prioritise issues and be self-motivated.* Ability to travel to London office / across Europe as required * Aptitude for strategic commercial long-term forward thinking.Skills and Experience: Desirable* Account Management or Business Development experience gained within a regulated environment - such as Pharma, Freight-Forwarding or experience within any other regulated industry would be an advantage. * Candidates wishing to move into an Account Management role that possess knowledge of regulatory submissions in Pharma or similar would also be considered. * Bilingual in English and either French, Spanish or Dutch is ideal but not essential.
