Job Description

Summary We have an exciting opportunity to develop our partnership and programming activity in line with the Renewal Plan and revised strategy. As Programming & Partnerships Officer, you will work closely with the wider Visitor Experience team to develop the strategy and approach to partnerships & programming at the property and then facilitate and deliver. What youll be doing You will be responsible for working with the property team to co-produce specific elements of a public engagement programme of visitor experiences and participation opportunities. You will work with partners to facilitate activities based on the audience needs and spirit of place at your property, and financial and business growth objectives of your property business plan. You will work with national visitor programming teams and community and commercial partners to deliver events and activities which engage visitors, volunteers and community participants. You will help connect with our places, our work and ensure their needs are met. You will evaluate the impact of partnerships and programming Who were looking for

  • Experience in building, maintaining and developing partnership relationships in order to offer engagement opportunities to audiences of visitors, volunteers or community participants.
  • Experience in directly delivering visitor programmes and/or working with community or commercial partners to deliver events and activities for and with audiences in the heritage or visitor attraction sectors.
  • Experience of business and/or audience development, in particular using feedback to improve and develop an offer, connecting people with art, culture, nature, heritage and the outdoors and ensuring these assets deliver more benefit to audiences
  • A collaborative, empathic approach – able to adapt your plans and style to the needs of partners, team members and audiences
  • Good people skills, enabling effective working relationships with those in your team and across the property
