Job Description

Theatre ManagerStaffordBand 6/7 £45kEclypse Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Theatre Manager to join a reputable private hospital in Stafford. The hospital offers a wide range of treatments including endoscopy, orthopaedics, general surgery, ophthalmology, gynaecology, urology andear, nose, and throat treatments across operating theatres. The hospital is currently rated Good with the Care Quality Commission.Reporting to the Director of Nursing, the Theatre Manager will undertake the management and organisation of care provision within the operating department whilst continuing to take the motivated and dedicated team forwards. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring high clinical standards at all times and making sure all clinical governance issues are addressed.
  • Ensuring all equipment and theatre environment is maintained
  • Managing financial budgets
  • Meeting the requirements of the CQC within the department
  • Working closely with Senior Management to increase theatre activity
The PersonWe are looking for an experienced Theatre Manager. To be considered for this position, you must have the following:
  • ODP Level 3/Registered Nurse qualification HCPC/NMC registration
  • Minimum of 3 years previous leadership experience within a theatre department
  • ENB 998 qualification or equivalent
  • Comprehensive understanding of relevant clinical standards
PackageA competitive salary is on offer for this positon dependant on experience, for a full time 37.5 hour working week.
