Job Description

Finance Manager Salary - £50-60k + £6.7k Car AllowanceA Food Production client of mine is looking to recruiting a Finance Manager to be based in their Knighton, Staffordshire ( 2or3 days a week on site)The Finance Manager will provide dedicated financial resource to support and challenge the manufacturing operation at a site level and to support the Director of Supply Chain Finance in delivery of your objectives.Main Responsibilities:Finance Control & Operations

  • Delivery of site standards which reflect current working practices and agreed specification
  • Delivery of weekly/monthly reporting cycle (FPR, forecasts, KPIs, etc)
  • Maintain adequate financial control at site and a good level of governance
  • Monitor and report capital expenditure for the site
  • Review and analyse stock reporting and forecasting
Performance Reporting
  • Reporting timely information to site teams both financial and non-financial
Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Co-ordinate site budgets and ensure alignment with the business objectives
  • Delivery of site forecasts ensuring it is accurate, robust and timely
  • Complete forecasts and budgets in conjunction with site management teams to company standard
Decision Support
  • Develop highly effective working relationships with key business partners
  • Add value operationally by providing, insight, challenge and analysis ensuring a finance perspective is brought to all business decision using fact based information
  • Drive cost reduction via proactive challenge and seek to identify cost cutting initiatives
  • Provision of ad-hoc analysis, modelling and project support as required
The successful candidate will ideally have relevant experience within site manufacturing - a strong preference for food manufacturing. You must be able to demonstrate business partnering skills and good analytical skills. My client will look at any Qualifiedby Experience individuals with the right experience.
