Job Description

Client DetailsWe are an SME based in Staffordshire and we are looking to hire an experienced Quality professional to fulfil the role of Senior Quality Engineer working directly for the QHSE manager in a senior capacity helping to lead and direct the quality team in day-to-dayoperations.Description
  • Define, implement, and monitor quality procedures to ensure that production runs efficiently to the highest levels of quality.
  • Ensuring ongoing compliance ISO 9001 & 14001
  • Maintaining a robust schedule of internal and external audits.
  • Continually review all the quality processes and update as necessary to ensure any new ways of working align with the ethos of quality first.
  • Investigate non-conformance and customer returns, ensuring all data is logged and corrective actions implemented.
  • Monitor and assess the quality performance of the supply chain and raise concerns as required.
  • Continually looking at ways to improve processes working with production to improve processes and quality.
  • Upskilling of the existing team and sharing best practice.
Profile
  • Knowledge and experience of a similar product/industry would be beneficial but not essential.
  • The ideal candidate would have many years experience working as a quality engineer within a manufacturing environment and is a confident and effective communicator able to quickly disseminate and implement ideas to the team.
