Job Description

Are you passionate about creating a positive impact on the lives of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Do you thrive in a dynamic and supportive environment If so, we want YOU to be a part of our dedicatedteam as a SEND Key Worker!Position: SEND Key WorkerLocation: ST8 6ARType: Full-Time, Temp for 4 monthsRate: £15.26 Per Hour Umbrella RateWhat Youll Do:As a SEND Key Worker, you will play a pivotal role in providing personalized support to children and young people with SEND, fostering an inclusive environment that promotes growth, learning, and wellbeing. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing tailored support plans for individuals with SEND.
  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to each childs development.
  • Advocating for the needs of children with SEND and promoting an inclusive ethos within the school or community setting.
  • Monitoring progress and adapting strategies to meet the evolving needs of each child.
What Were Looking For:� We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic individual with:
  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 in relevant qualification.
  • Relevant experience working with children and young people with SEND.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and stakeholders.
  • Passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children with SEND.
