International Decorative Surfaces are the UKs largest distributor of decorative surfaces specialising in flooring, worktops, laminates, compact, panel products, solid surface and wallpanelling. With an annual turnover of more than £120 million we take the business of fulfilling our customers needs very seriously. We make more than 2,000 daily deliveries using our fleet of over 100 vehicles achieving a 99% on-time, in-full, service record.Is this role right for meFirst and foremost, we always want to recruit talented people that align well with our values and way of working; within this role you will be responsible for maximising sales and profit, through building successful working relationships with internal and externalcustomers. Ensuring the showroom operates in a professional and safe manner whilst achieving all showroom targets.Key Results Areas

  • Achievement of showroom targets including; sales, gross margin, profit
  • Customer service standards are maintained and monitored
  • Leading, motivating the showroom team to deliver results
  • Monitor local competition to access own performance
  • Coordinate promotional activity
  • Ensure compliance and implementation of health and safety directives
  • Ensuring product knowledge is up to date and cascaded to showroom team
  • Showroom housekeeping standards
  • Introduce a local Marketing strategy for the showroom
  • Resolving customer complaints
  • Building client base
