Have a look at the skillsbelow, we are flexible to your learning in some areas.. as long as you want to grow and learn.Learn and grow:-You will have exposure to multiple projects, reporting to the Lead Developer, across various technologies which will showcase your abilities and develop other experiences.You may currently be someone who holds 2 years+ experienc and you you be in a team/support role to a Full-Stack web developer, web developer, ASP.NET C# developer, remote software developer, Software Engineer, Data Engineer, front end web developer, - Its where you want to be that we are interested in - we can help!OverviewWorking closely with the appropriate business departments, and internal IT teams, the Web Developer, togethe with the Lead Developer will be responsible for delivering reliable, high-performing web applications and services to the business and will manageone direct report.To be successful in this role, the candidate needs to be analytical, showing good attention to detail, and be experienced in developing and delivering high-quality code that is thoroughly tested.Interested candidates should include their GitHub username and/or link to their portfolio.Reporting to Lead Developer, you will be involved in the provision of development estimates, development, and testing of web-based applications, adhering to company methodologies.Essential Skills

• Degree level qualification or equivalent in an IT relevant subject
• Understanding of MVC and Object Orientated design patterns
• Strong web development skills and a passion to deliver reliable, secure and high-performance web applications that deliver business benefit
• Defensive Programming (Prevention of cross-script attack, sql injection, path manipulation)
• Understanding of clean code principles and adherence to code style guides (StandardJS etc)
• Good code documentation and commit message writing
• Demonstrable maintenance of skill sets by continuous development and knowledge acquisition
• Building, consuming and serving REST APIs
• Comfortable on a unix command line

The following technologies are all currently in use in the business:

• MVC (ASP.NET, Code Igniter, Adonis JS etc )
• Front-end JS frameworks (VueJS)
• WordPress Plugins / themes
• SQL database design and query optimisation (MSSQL, MySQL)
• Unit and Integration testing (TDD - Nunit, Mocha)
• Imaging and packaging (NPM packages,Nuget Packages,Packagist)
• Writing build and deployment automation scripts (Github Actions, Bash, Jenkins etc)
• Website Support (Expression Engine v2, php)
• HTML5 and HTML templating languages (Pug, Handlebars etc)
• CSS3 and CSS pre-processors (SCSS/LESS)

Advantageous skills - any of the below;-

• Cloud server management (AWS)
• Docker Containerisation
• Familiarity with ES6 features
• Scrum/kanban methodology
• JavaScript build processGulp, Grunt etc.
• Performance and scalability optimisation (Client-side and server-side)
• User tracking and reporting (Google Analytics)
• E2E and functional testing (WebDriver)
