Job Description

Pivotal Construction Recruitment are working with a national Gas Heating & Maintenance contactor. Our client is seeking multiple Service & Repair Engineers to join the team on a permanent basis to cover various contracts throughout the country.With outstanding reviews and some of the best salary packages out there at the moment. Our client is keen to expand their growing team as soon as possible.Productivity Requirements:

  • Engineers must be committed to completing either 8-10 service visits or 6-8 breakdowns (or a mix of the two) every day.
  • Engineers will also be required to work one evening per week (Up to 8pm) & one weekend day per month either Saturday or Sunday at the engineers discretion. (These productivity requirements must be met in order to qualify for a full bonus which will take earnings up to £48,000 per annum. As well as a Company van, Pension & Holidays)
    • Alternative package:Our client is also offering this position with an alternative package (For engineers not looking to work unsociable hours).Engineers will still need to meet the recommend Service & breakdown targets but will be fixed to a 40-hour week with no evenings or weekend work.(This package is offered on a £35,000 basic salary + £5,000 bonus if requirements are met. As well as a company van, pension, and 6 weeks holiday. Including bank holiday)Details you need to know:Engineers must have their own FGA with calibration or agree to our clients buy back system (Where they buy the FGA for you, which is then paid back over the space of 3 months through wage deduction)Engineers must have ACS Gas tickets including: CCN1, CKR1, HTR1 & CENWAT or CEN1 & WAT1Engineers must have a Full UK Driving Licence.Engineers will be checked for DBS by the client.All Engineers must be able to provide references from previous employment of a similar background to this role.All Engineers will be required to use a G1 software to track progress throughout the day.This role in a nutshell:Engineers will be required to complete 8-10 services or 6-8 breakdowns a day, this may include the servicing & breakdowns on; Boilers, cookers, radiators, leaks etc. This position can be offered a standard 40-hour week or an extended contract which will include 1 evening shift a week and 1 weekend a month. A company vehicle, training, pension & holiday package will be agreed with our client in the interview stage (most interviews will be face-to-face in their Midland office.
