  • Salary: £19,086 per annum
  • Location: Staffordshire
  • Contract: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week
  • Hours: Monday - Friday, between 8.00 am - 6.00 pm

Key Responsibilities of a Customer Service Advisor:
  • Provide excellent customer service, interact with customers in a professional manner to place orders and answer any queries
  • Prioritise customer orders and requests and use initiative to resolve any complaints about issues in their orders
  • Raise credit notes and re-invoice goods as required on customer orders and provide customers with copies if requested
  • Show a strong product knowledge to cross-sell/upsell to customers, and maximise opportunities where possible
  • Assist the Returns Department with processing paperwork for credits
Skills and Experience of a Customer Service Advisor:
  • Confident communication skills and a friendly telephone manner
  • Positive and friendly customer service and interpersonal skills
  • A keen desire to learn and work in a target-centred environment
  • Positive mindset and proactive attitude towards work
  • Great work ethic with the ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent written skills
  • Ability to calmly handle all customer requests and manage difficult/sensitive conversations
  • Great problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Confident administrative and computer skills including digital/electronic systems
  • Ability to multitask to a high standard and prioritise workloads
  • Knowledge of the veterinary industry would be an advantage
  • Flexible approach to working hours
